The Society for American Archaeology offers
two brochures that have been developed to answer frequently asked
questions about archaeology. In addition, the SAA's Public Education
Committee has developed a variety of resources to help educators incorporate
archaeology into classroom teaching. Many of these materials are now
available on the SAA web site. Resources marked with a *
are available in print format and can be ordered from SAA. Most materials
are free of charge, but require a small fee to cover shipping charges.
